Papaspanos Nikolaos is a Clinical Dietitian who graduated from Harokopeio University of Athens (2005), and Sport Scientist graduated from Democretus University of Thrace (2000). He is also a senior student in the master programme “Exercise and Quality of Life” of the Department of Sport Science and Physical Education of Democretus University of Thrace, with a specialization in “Enhancing Athletic Performance”.
In 2012, he became a member of the Hellenic Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (GrESPEN). In 2013, he became a certified Long Life Learning Teacher (TLLL) and attended the “Basic Course Clinical Nutrition and Metabolic Care” of the European Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN). Since 2018, Papaspanos Nikolaos has been the leader of the European Specialist Dietetic Network (ESDN) “Sports and Physical Activity” of EFAD (European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians). He has been a freelancer dietitian since 2005, where he copes with cases regarding obesity, sports and clinical nutrition. Finally, since 2017 he has been the dietitian in the Obesity Department of “Agios Loukas” private hospital and also an invited teacher in Medicine’s School of Thessaloniki Masters Programme.
