On 23 October 2026, the Association of Nutritionists and Dietitians of Slovenia will host the conference “The Role of Dietitians in Public Healthcare” in Maribor, Slovenia.

The programme will explore dietitians’ role across several key areas of public health, including obesity management, primary care, nutrition in educational institutions, and chronic kidney disease. It will also feature the presentation of the Maribor Declaration.

EFAD President Grigoris Risvas will deliver a welcome address, and members of the EFAD Executive Committee will attend the conference.

The following day, on 24 October, the Slovenian association will host the EFAD General Meeting. The meeting will bring EFAD members together to review progress, exchange perspectives and help shape the Federation’s priorities for the year ahead.
