The main aim of HEALTH UP! is to provide VET trainers and VET centres with tools to understand and identify indicators of eating disorders among their students, encouraging eating disorder prevention through early identification and the implementation in the VET centre of preventive activities that encourage healthier habits among students. It aims to educate VET teachers on eating disorders from a formal perspective and a practical perspective on prevention in the classroom.
HEALTH UP! will develop: a guide to educate about eating disorders, from a formal point of view, with clear information and contact points at the European level, useful to readers. Two workshop manuals: one focused on nutrition, and one focused on mental health, social and physical activities. The workshop manuals will include activities to implement in the classroom, at home, and through an app. And the development of an app to access the content in a dynamic and user-friendly way.
