The scientific and technological mission of PROMISS is to conduct ground breaking research to contribute to the prevention of malnutrition in community-dwelling older adults and to support active and healthy ageing. PROMISS’ main goal is the PRevention Of Malnutrition In Senior Subjects in the EU. It integrates all relevant scientific disciplines to ensure excellent cross-disciplinary expertise and exchange of knowledge. 

The consortium includes experts in the fields of epidemiology, clinical trials, geriatrics, nutrition, physical activity, microbiomics, and behaviour, consumer, sensory and computer sciences, as well as industry, SMEs, European stakeholder organisations and representatives of older adults themselves.

Kick off meeting

PROMISS kick off meeting took place in Amsterdam on 6-7 June 2016.

First results from workpackages
