  • International Code of Ethics and Code of Good Practice for Dietetics was adopted by EFAD September 2008
    International standards are not meant to replace any national standards that exist, but are meant to put on paper those important matters to which we can all agree, so that National Dietetic Associations who have their own, can still commit to the sentiments of any internationally agreed code.  They represent the common ground of dietetics around the world.

    Mary Moloney is a Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin St. Dublin 8. Ireland. She served two terms of office as President of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute. She also served on the executive committee of EFAD for two years. Currently she is chairperson of the PR committee of EFAD. She has published articles in a number of peer reviewed journals and has presented findings from research studies at many international conferences. She has acted as an external examiner to a number of university courses overseas. She has won many awards for her contribution to the promotion and development of nutrition and dietetics.
