Welcome to the EFAD web site, providing information and representation to over 30,000 European dietitians.

A dietitian is a person with a qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics recognised by national authority. The dietitian applies the science of nutrition to the feeding and education of groups of people and individuals in both health and disease.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to support Member Associations in developing the role that dietitians have in reducing inequalities and improving nutritional health in Europe.

7th EFAD - DIETS conference

The Seventh EFAD/DIETS General Meeting and Conference will take place near Lake Garda, Italy on 8/9 November 2013.

The conference is open to all, including practising dietitians, teachers and students.

The business part of the EFAD General Meeting, hosted by the Italian Dietetic Association (ANDID), will be on Thursday 7 November.

Admission to the business meeting is restricted to the nominated Delegates of National Dietetic Associations who are full members of EFAD.
